Background
Jason has over 25 years' experience in IT support, working across many industries and particularly in the legal sector, including roles at leading law firms Allen & Overy (now A&O Shearman), Norton Rose Fulbright and Forsters, as well as contract work with American Express. Throughout his career he has helped people and organisations solve real problems day to day, and more recently has added AI automation to that experience. He now specialises in the Microsoft security stack that most small and medium-sized businesses already pay for but rarely use to its full potential, including Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Defender for Business, multi-factor authentication, email security and Copilot.
Why EquaProtect exists
Most small businesses, charities, restaurants and law firms don't have an IT department. They're expected to protect themselves against the same threats as large companies, but without the time, budget or jargon-free advice to do it. EquaProtect was started to close that gap, with one simple belief: IT security and AI for all. That means enterprise-grade protection explained in plain English, practical training that helps staff avoid costly mistakes, and a real person always available.
